Hi David I didn't understand your remedy! What I did was take the stator from my other TY which had a good spark fitted it to 2nd bike still no spark, removed fitted it back to 1st bike now no spark do the points need resetting. I tried setting points on both bikes but I canny see will have to ...

Hi I hope David Lahey can help me out I've just bought anther TY 175 it hasn't been run for appx 20 years hence no spark I checked coil on my other 175 its OK I have pulled the stator out how do I do tests to see whats wrong, while its out was going to disconnect the the 2 wires for the lights etc ...
