Re: Assessment 1 Competency? HAHA!!!!
I don't think the kickstart course is too much, certainly not when it's been tailored for Trials. It has some theory and some practical to make sure the child can stay on the bike to some degree. About 6 years ago my then 6 yr old son got his first endorsment for 85cc (he was riding a 50cc at the ...

....We have been using them in SA for sometime now. We normally have a refueling area with a couple of fire extinguishers close by and an Enviormat there to be used.

Re: 2017 Rule Changes
David,
The sections must be ridden in sequence, the riders don't have to maintain any sequence between themselves. So, just like there is today, faster riders naturally move forward through the group. People let others in "...you go first, I'm still working out what line I'm going to take..."

Re: 2017 Rule Changes
David, it will achieve #1, who knows about #3 but won't necessarily do #2. The rules state that 'the Promoter has the ability to start individual classes at different sections on the course', so to avoid significant pooling behind others, I would imagine this being done more often than not....and ...

Re: 2017 Rule Changes
The removal of the age groups seems to favour those who would have ridden masters who ride B line (from memory) whereas the vets ride C because the grading/handicapping is no longer in use. It certainly removes the age grouping identification of competitors, so less ageism opportunities for those ...

Re: New from Japan
If the fan changes direction when you change the polarity/tweak positive-negative, then what you can do is set it so the air is pulled from the front of the bike towards the rear (that is from forks to engine)
Good work on the continuing rebuild/restoration of the bike to it's former glory!

No please don't take this small but important victory away from me Paul
He had a tougher than normal day and I rode well (relatively speaking!) It felt nice to win for a change.

Re: RD2 NSW Trials Championship APPIN
I don't have all the results but I do know that for the first time in my 2 years of competition history, I beat my 10 year old son Thomas. I've not been gloating about it much at home, but I'll be bringing it up on Sunday while celebrating Fathers Day.
Seriously though, it was a great day....good ...
