Been without a trials bike for 1 year now but couldn'tgo on. Bought a TLR250 for $200. Needs a bit of work, but not too much hopefully.
Its in pretty good usable condition aside from the fact that it doesn't run. It has been stood for 3 years, it fires but won't tick over, even with new fuel.

Vic Fire Appeal
Hi All.
I Run a removals Company based in the Northern Rivers NSW ( Near Byron Bay ), toward the end of this month I have a truck going from the Gold Coast, through Byron Bay and then on to Melbourne. I am offering to take as much stuff as I have spare room for on the truck. My Sister is in the ...

Re: Question for Keith J ??
Starky, to be a proper lerker wouldn't you have to have no posts at all?
And lets face it, there is no true measure here, only comparison.
So if there is to be a change in the scoring system how about as I said previously. Set targets for the High score people and leave the below 100's alone ( also ...

Re: Question for Keith J ??
As a recent A grader I think that would be a bad Idea, espesialy if you look at the rubish I wrote for my last few posts just to get to 100. ( it's my first real achevment in life , now let me bask in the glory ).
On a serious note how about an A+ for 200 or more. ( please sir don't take away my ...

Re: Twinshock TLR250 Sidecar
Just a quick note to let you know of some similar engines and their fitting.
An xl250 can fit an xl500 engine.a cb250rs will fit a xl500 engine. I don't think a xr500 engine
will bolt straight into either of the previous, hope that helps ( maybe not).
Cheers Gordo

Re: tubeless tyre, slow leak, how to fix?
I though the idea with that stuff was that it didn't dry until it made contact with large amounts of air. If I'm right ( and I'm not sure I am ) then that would make it all sag to the bottom of the wheel when it was stationary and would also make it block the valve in the same way as it blocks a ...

Re: tubeless tyre, slow leak, how to fix?
If I was you I would put the wheel and tyre in a bath to see where the leak is from. then if you look on this site there was several good sugestions ( probably not mine ) on how to get a perfect seal. the topic was covered in depth about 3-4 months ago.
If I was you I would not use that seal slime ...

Re: Honda TL250 on fleaBay
Rob I don't know why you gave the link for the TL. you will probably end up biding against someone who got the link from you. already there is someone on the trials bike site asking Q's about the TL.
