Re: Cota 247 no spark
Hi Andrew,
Further to that I use Auto Trans Oil in the clutch and gearbox on all my Montesa's, the only bike I have that has to run on specialist oil is my TY 175, and that has Elf HTX 740, just to prevent the plates locking up between rides.
Regards

Re: Cota 247 no spark
Hi Andrew,
I use Automatic Transmission Fluid in all my forks, and have not encountered a problem yet, but maybe my riding does not require anything finer.

Re: Cota 247 no spark
Hi Andrew,
I have all my Montesa's condensors under the fuel tank. Firstly remove the condensor behind the flywheel, and then just wire the new condensor into the black lead that goes directly onto the HT coil, at the Ht coil. I have used one of the mounting bolts for the coil to fix my condesors to ...

Hi Andrew,
Which ones have you lost? The front one I am sure is shorter than the middle and rear one.I might have some spare ones. Did you meet up with Greg on the weekend?

Re: Montesa Clutch Drag
Hi Andrew,
I had the three fingered activator out of my 348, and I got the brass push rod from Bultaco UK, their email address is [email protected] and then to the inmotion site, for Montesa spares.
Regards Cedric
