If you take a close look at the MAXXIS tyre it has more open blocks compared to a true trials Universal tyre. Even though they look roughly like a Trials pattern they have bigger gaps, so are not technically a legal Trials tyre. I had a quick look at the FIM regulations and couldn't quickly find ...

After having it recommended to me, I use a mix of kero and chainsaw bar oil. Up here in Gladstone it gets very humid and this brew seems to work well. I put it in a small pump up spray bottle like you use for spraying weeds, you can get a model from Bunnings that is designed better to handle oil ...

It looks to me like the return spring on the clutch actuation arm is an add-on. The metal filings on the clutch pack point to some rubbing perhaps.

Although they weren't cheap, I bought a pair of Rockshocks from The Hell Team and had them on my doorstep in a few days. Paul had them on the shelf and they seem to work fine. I have Falcons on my other TY but can't comment yet on their performance.
