Re: Classic Trials rules in Australia - who is interested?
David,
I'm interested!!! Don't have a classic, but would like to see classic eligibility rules broadened.
Already starting to hear noise about tightening post classic eligibility....
The more bikes brought out of chicken sheds & ridden the better.
Thanks
Jamie

Re: Gearing
i think you will find the standard gearing on a sherco 290 is 10/42. if it currently has an 11 tooth front you will struggle to get a 12 tooth sprocket to fit as there will be very little clearance between the chain and the clutch slave cylinder. rear sprockets are cheaper than slave cylinders ...

Re: OKO Flat Slide carby
don't bother with it. it's a cheap arse chinese copy of a keihin carb, but not as well made. don't know how you'll go with after sales support either. spare parts, set up etc!!
if everyone keeps buying cheap chinese crap the quality manufacturers will go out of business. a bit like the (former ...

Re: Starting Out
just buy a bike you can afford and then ride it every moment of every day!!
you'll have to stop when you get cramp in your clutch finger. won't be able to ride again til the blisters on your hand harden up!!
you will fall off and it may hurt. it's also bloody good fun.
if you are a bit careful ...
