Re: Oil/Fuel Mixture

Hi Nic, I bought my Sherco of Don in Canberra and he recommends 70 to 1 ratio and Motorex oil, I have been using it at that ratio and have had no problems with my fuel, Steve.

Re: Upload your best trials pics!

nothing wrong with that, it looks to be around the same age as my mates 350. We will have to try to arrange a ride with Nic, you, myself and my mate Bill, trying to find somewhere close to each other might be a challenge though.

ty 350 which oil

Hi my mate has a ty 350 that needs an oil change, what oil is suitable for it. I have a Sherco 290 and use Castrol edge sport 5w 30, is this also suitable for the ty or does it need a thicker grade oil, thanks Steve. ps how much oil does the ty hold/need.

Re: Gearing

Hi Jamie yeah you are right they do have 10 / 42, I was after an 11 tooth not a 12 like I wrote. They are hard to get so I decided to get a 39 rear, I haven't had much of a ride since fitting it but it seems to of done the trick, cheers Steve.

Re: Thanks

I agree Davo, I too have found the people on this site very helpfull. I am only fairly new to trials but have been riding road and trail bikes for years. I now enjoy the thrill of riding slow instead of flat out, thanks again for the advise and help I have received, Steve.

Gearing

Hi, I have a Sherco 290 that I want to gear up, I know that putting a smaller rear sprocket on will achieve this but I want to change the front as it is cheaper. I have been told different stories, can someone please clear this up for me. It currently has the standard 11 tooth sprocket, do I need to ...
