Welcome Nev, Your on the right track joining the club. Change over one of the other bikes to a used post 2K bike, 200cc or more, get hold of Ryan Young's DVD and your off. Wish I lived closer to Oakleigh, looks like a great venue. Cheers Kem

How does the 990 go compared with the 950?. Are they smooth to ride, do they buzz the hands at all?

Good luck with the resto. Fond memories of the YB. Held to the stops down Port Road at Midnight, Two up returning from Arvo shift with the missus. Never missed a beat, never got over 80 either.

04 Rev3 owned 12mths, small leak started at the pump.
Replaced by Beta Racing will get the aluminum one next time.

Even though I didn't like my asterisk braces, I often wear simple elbow and knee/shin gaurds that fit in my boots too, enduro gear. Great for stopping the annoying knocks and bruises that come from pushing your limits. It can restrict movement sometimes but the extra confidence makes up for it.
