Hi all,
I have bought an Oset 16r for the little guy and was chasing options to upgrade the battery to the lithium option, especially given the weight savings that can be made.
I know that there is a pack that can be purchased and plugged in from the dealer but was chasing other options as well ...

Re: Cut out lanyards for trials bikes
On this video are many examples of lanyards saving injury to people and damage to bikes. There are some close calls too! Yes they are mostly riding at a level well above what we do, however, remember when in a section you tend to be in that grey area regarding your ability and a fall with a bike ...

Re: Learning to balance while stopped?
Lift the front wheel against a wall so it is about 1 foot off the ground, leave the bike in gear and kill the engine. This makes it easier to balance. once this is mastered go the opposite and have the front off a drop off. No need to stop the engine though. Next step is to practice in the garage ...

Re: c grade lines
I think we need to look after our clubmen and c grade riders as they form the majority of trials riders and where new riders will learn their craft. The problem with lowering C grade lines is the fact that the smallest jump in grades is from clubmen to C grade. Perhaps the C grade lines need to be ...

Re: The Ossa TR280i, how good is it?
I had that same question earlier in the year. Concerned about a new model. But if i bought the Sherco i would have spent at least $700 on an ohlins shock, the same price difference. I went with the Ossa and am glad I did. There were a few little niggles but compared to what i had heard about other ...

Re: Laia Sanz Training Camp
Thanks Bev and Paul,
That is great that the FIM is running this event in Australia. I guess it is a shame that she could not stay longer and run a men's event as well. Totally understand about what you are saying and can understand the idea behind running a women's only event, just a shame she came ...

Laia Sanz Training Camp
I know entries have closed but I was just wondering if the Laia Sanz training was in fact ONLY open to females?
If this is the case is there a reason why? Was it a time thing or was that what Laia felt comfortable with? MA?
I am not attacking anyone, just i know of a number of people who would ...

Re: Round 3 NSW Moto Trials Championship
And has anyone considered making an online entry form? So people can fill in their entry and submit it directly on Trial Aus, and all the details go to an administrator, with options for people to direct debit their entry fee. I have lost count of the amount of times I have filled out an entry form ...

Re: Painting a Frame
Hi Toby,
I had a frame painted once. First i had it sandblasted and then powder coated, both done in the ACT.

Re: Guidelines for section setting
Have a variety of grade riders set the sections too. I also believe that EVERY rider should set sections at least once a year. It is a difficult job that should be shared around. Also reminds riders how much work is involved and how difficult it can be.
