Can’t say I disagree with the sentiment.
My 9 year old wants to start giving it a go and the only way I could work out what the “kickstart” program is was to call MAV. They just told me to talk to the club.
The couple of committee members I’ve enquired with have no idea what I’m talking about. Not ...

My restricted senior licence expiring in January was $216.72 last year and $242.52 this year. Includes the extra few percent for using a credit card.

Re: Glenmaggie entry list?
Belated thanks David.
Entry had been received so all good. Had an absolute ball, the last time I was there would have been 1992 or 1993 so bought back a lot of memories.
Bring on the next one!

Glenmaggie entry list?
Hi all,
Back to trials after a long layoff so wondering if entry lists are ever posted prior to the event? I've been racing cars for a few years and there is always an entry list posted a few weeks before.
I've entered Glenmaggie but my cheque hasn't been cashed
Cheers
Blair

Re: Cut out lanyards for trials bikes
I've accidentally disconnected mine a few times whilst riding over obstacles when I first fitted it.
It was user error though as I was letting the lanyard get wrapped around my wrist meaning only a small movement disconnected it. Now that I'm used to it no problems and its handy when the bike's in ...

Re: Insurance for Trials Bikes
They had a 2012 Beta EVO 300 in their system so put mine in as that, then in the details noted it was a 250. Don't think they have too many on the books.
Sounds like a call to them is the go.

Re: Insurance for Trials Bikes
Mines insured through Shannons on their 'laid up' cover and is covered for everything other than when it's damaged through use, including in transit or away from home.
Can't remember the cost but it is insignificant.

They are a universal item so should work on your bike.
I bought one and a few spare lanyards from The Hell Team.

Re: Thinking about getting back into trials
Good on ya Blair.
The trick with the wife is to firstly take her to a property with plenty of grass in the car park, easy walking to sections, and hopefully a snack tent that serves a nice hot cup of tea. Be sure to pack the camper chair and try to park in a shady spot.
Get the aesthetics right ...
