Those were the days, Dunlop trials wellies and boiler suits, love the Ossa, last of the greenies.

Rev3 Fluids
Hi all,
I have just received my '06 Beta Rev3 ex UK and as a requirement for the trip it has been drained of fluids. My question is, what are the best pre-mix oils and ratios, gearbox oil and coolant?
Thanks
Mark WA

Re: TY175 Bars
The bars are a second hand pair of Renthals, maybe 15 years old! 6" rise maybe. The levers are just cheapie aftermarket, I had trouble locating the originals and I'm sure they'd be really expensive!

Re: Defect new part
Hi Roger,
I had the same problem last year. After discussions with the walking TY encyclopaedia (D.L.) I just assembled as usual but shimmed the shaft so that there was just perceptable end float and all is well, I mean it can't fall out can it?!!

Hey Tom,
I'm an expat pom in Perth and I have to say that if your Beamish is yellow you have to bring it. I'm sure I can persuade you to sell it to me for 50 quid! I had a lovely 81 250 back in Blighty, I just loved that bike, I tried a 325 but ended up buying my old 250 back... I'd love to see one ...

Hey David,
spot on again! The unused autolube inlet on the carby has never been sealed, thus air leaking in downstream of the carby.
Are you sure the plug gap should be 0.3 - 0.4mm? My manual states 0.5 - 0.6mm
Thanks - Mark

Re: TY175 restoration
Spot on David, the pilot was blocked, it's almost right now but it's still not as responsive right off the bottom as I'd like, maybe I should try a 27.5 or 30 pilot jet?
Thanks - Mark

Hi all,
the closer I get to finishing this project, the more money it seems to consume! I'm 99% there, just need new shockies to finish. However..... I ran this bike for the first time last week, mechanically it's all sweet as a nut (should be, as just about everything has been replaced) but it ...
