Re: KT that sold on ebay tonight (01/05)
That was one of my castoffs, I would have loved to finish it off fully restored, but unfortunately have too many bikes on the go currently. I have another bitsa KT250 listed on ebay at the moment, very good, solid straight frame, good for somebody to start a refurb on.

Re: TY 80s..
Trails and Trials UK have a good supply of mechanical bits and pieces for the TY80 models, I bought a new plastic moulded front guard fo my unit from there. John also carries a lot of bolt kits, grips, levers, springs, cables, pegs and some other good bits as well. Try them either on their ebay site ...

Re: The art of stationary balancing
Dear All,
First things first, if you are an older codger like me, fit bigger footpegs. I can't for the life of me stay up on the old skinny pegs on the Montesa or Yamaha and Honda, but with a wider style peg there certainly is some improvement. (Not bleeding very much, but still a very small ...

Re: TY250 won't start after a wash
I believe you are the owner of a Monoshock Yam 250. These bikes have a very poor quality seal around the wiring (from the top of the side case) into the flywheel side of the engine. They deteriorate in time due to the action of clumsy feet around that side as well as they are usually rubbing and ...

Re: Advice on Fantic's, please help!
Shawn,
I have a 1991 Fantic 250 KRoo, I have chased parts myself, try and lookup Frankfield Fantic and Bob Wright, both UK suppliers (both should be on the web).
Takes a bit to get an email reply, but you could try and call them via phone or leave a fax message. Let them know what bits you need and ...

Sorry, That last one should have been Competition Yellow, Not Carnation Yellow( Not wearing my specs)
Hope I transferred all the codes correctly as my copy is pretty worn. Let me know if I have stuffed up or not

Re: Bultaco paint codes
Your pretty spot on with those Bultaco pant codes, Little bit difficult as not all shops can remix pressure packs just using the standard code numbers, but the early 70's auto names and codes helps a hell of a lot

Re: Full Size Electric Trial Bike
At this point in time, probably better to try and build your own, The problem is trying to find the lightest frame. The mono shock frames are probably the go with light Chromoly or alloy in most of the frame components. I have built up a prototype Yamaha DT100 running on 36V 750W gearmotor, running ...
