Of course, David makes a good point and there will not, except on rare occasions, be a scrutineer who knows what MoMS says about Classic Bike specifications or in fact how to recognise components which are or are not eligible. The story doesn't end there though.

Yes, happy days indeed. A couple of names which haven't been mentioned are Dave Pinkerton and Ian Gaff. Dave was a professional stunt rider and performed at shows in the Sydney area. Good luck to SQTA. They have made a bold step in the interests of giving competitors a fair deal. This is particularly appropriate to riders just starting out, allowing them to get started without having to fork out too much money.
