Thanks for the input guys.
I've shoved a bottle of Slime in there for now, it seems to be working OK.
I will have to replace the tyre in the not too distant future so hopefully it will hold till then.

Re: This should put a smile on ya dial!
Great, Thanks!
It really puts trials into perspective. We normally only get to see the moves that work.
I think that some back and coccyx protection is in order!

tubeless tyre, slow leak, how to fix?
G'day, I have a slow leak in the rear tubeless tyre on the Beta and I'm wondering what "fix" is suitable. Is it necessary to plug or patch the tyre or is it ok to use "Slime" in a slow moving trials tyre?
Thanks...XT.

Re: Beta brakes
Thanks guys, I've pretty much narrowed the choice down to two bikes, both 06 Betas.
Clearly this brake thing is not a big problem so it won't influence my decision on which bike I go for.
Is there any big improvements in the 07 Beta over the 06?

Re: Beta brakes
Thanks for the replies. The brakes seemed quite ineffective, ie, not a lot of stopping power.
Maybe they need new pads or perhaps a good bleed?

Beta brakes
G'day,
I'm currently in the market for a trials bike and test rode an 06 Beta 270 the other day. It went quite well but the front brake was atrocious! Is this typical of of Betas? If so, are there any fixes?
Also, the bike was fitted with a flywheel weight kit. Does this make a big difference to ...
