re: the PW50 fuel cap - my local bike wreckers had both a genuine Yamaha cap and a Chinese copy.
I tried the non-gen one first but the thread is different & wouldn't screw on - genuine one fits though!

Re: TY250 Mono pistons
Thanks Gomey,
Did you still have the original TK carb or had you replaced it with a Mikuni?
If it was the original one, where did you get bigger jets from? Yamaha only list a couple of different sizes & of
course they're silly prices too!
Cheers, Andy

Hi guys,
I haven't been on here for quite a long time so my query may have been addressed previously - sorry if so!
I have one of the original 1984 TY250 Monos - red frame/steel tank model (#53Y) which is currently getting a
tidy up so I can have a play again next season.

Re: STOLEN CCM
Great news guys! - The CCM was found last night! Was still in the suburb where it was stolen from & is still in "as was" condition. Looks like the "country cousins" who stole it
were still trying to work out what to do with it!
Thanks to everyone for keeping an eye out for me. Cheers, Andy

Re: STOLEN CCM
Sorry guys, I haven't got any photos of this bike (& wouldn't know how to put them on here anyway!) If you go to Google Images & enter "CCM Trials Bike" or "CCM 350 Trials Bike" there are some good pictures there.

STOLEN CCM
Hi guys, The thieving mongrels are at it again My mates workshop was broken into on Monday night & he was relieved of his CCM trials bike. For those that don't know, there was only 105 of these made in total back in the day (late '70s?) so you're not likely to see too many advertised on EBAY! The ...
