I would guess that's a seat for a 159. They would look the same but as the 158 and 159 have different frames I am pretty sure the seats would be different as well.

Hi David, with regards to the Piuma I went from a 199A Sherpa to a 349 White Cota and then the Piuma. I felt more at home on the Italjet I guess because of it's Bultaco origins. I rode a couple of the early green italjets which I really didn't like as they sort of felt heavy and unresponsive. The ...

Looks like a M92/91 with an earlier set of forks and front wheel. I also had a new genuine Piuma back in the day. I would say it was made of Bronze simply because its easier to cast than steel. Most magnetos seem to be made of Cast Iron with a steel centre piece for mounting purposes

The 349 cota [Greg Bostock] looks like a very original first series 349

I am pretty sure the early Ossa trials bikes were red with a white diagonal stripe, that is before the white and green MAR's. However I have never seen one in the flesh.
