I think it would probably have taken me about a week to find them on the internet !
Thanks so much. looks like they've got pretty much everything I need.
All I've got to do now is figure out how to do it (replace the points and adjust the timing) !!
I guess it's back to the internet for me ...

Montesa Cota 247 - timing/points
does anyone know where I can get a hold of the necessary tools to remove the flywheel on a Cota 247 ? Or where I can buy new points ? or better still is there anyone in sydney that works on Monty's or Bultaco's and has the tools and spares ?

Restoring Montesa Cota 247
I have a couple of old 247's I am interested in restoring and was wondering can anyone reccommend a good mechanic or someone who restores the older bikes. I guess a Bultaco or Ossa expert would be the next best thing if there are no longer any Monty experts around! I live in Sydney but am happy to ...
