Re: Restoring a 1972 fibreglass Bultaco fuel tank

Re: Basket Cases

Hi Everyone,
So I decided to have a closer look at the all-aluminium :Bultaco: rear hub I posted up a photo of a couple of days ago. When I lifted it up for a better look I found another all-aluminium :Bultaco: rear hub hiding underneath.
I then realised that they are quite different and this ...

Re: TLR200 sidecovers

Hi Gary, do you know if a TLR250 seat/sidecover combo fits on the 200? or could it be modified?. I am sure I have a fibreglass mould to make the 250 versions.

Re: newbie, classic trials bike advice-acceptibity

I believe the original ct200 meets all of the pre65 criteria but the front suspension and push rod engine are the main drawbacks.
There are also issues of eligibility with the 65 model and later model engines as they are different. You need to use a combination of s90 parts to make the ct200 ...

Hi Jools, not to hijack the thread but has your mate tried an extra base gasket or a spacer between the crankcase and the cylinder?

Re: Parts commonality for TLR250r-Import 1986

I believe the TLR250R is unique, not the same design as TLR250F, Rtl250 or XR250 it appears to be made and sold mainly to the Japanese market.

Thanks David, that picture is perfect, I can use the dimensions of the original clear background to confirm the correct size.

Re: Correct decals for TY250A

Thanks David, it does look like what I thought was an original sticker was either an imported model/sticker or only one that looked similar to the original.
Does anyone out there have an original sidecover/sticker that could send me a good quality photo?

cheers

Re: Correct decals for TY250A

Hi David, thanks for posting this.
I have been reproducing a number of trials bike stickers for quite a few years now and have often wondered about the different fonts used in the TY red/black "250" in different countries.
All of my artwork is taken from NOS stickers or from actual bikes so that I ...
