Agree with the whinging at the presentations, definatly not the right forum to have a go at the section setters. I rode Vets and I must admit it was a little easyer than expected, saying that all the top ten finished where I would expect them too.

Yep the trials watching part of the trip was definatly an eye opener, and it was great to catch up with Mitch, Boyd and Adrian. Its amazing how riders in Aus bitch about the cost of a licence when these guys can quite easyly spend the same amount just competing in one event.
Keep flying the flag ...

In WA we pay $10 per trial + $175 for a licence, we ride around 25 trials a year so that equals $425 per year thats not too bad I think.

10 pounds + (25 X 12) = 310 X 2.5 = $775 were cheaper in WA depending on how many trials you ride, saying that we don't hand out many trophys either.

R2 does ...

My latest trials iron is a scorpa 175,
Why? because my sons both own Beta's so thats one less bike I have to fix before, during and after every trial!!!

As for your Mt Barker trial, my employer (navy) will only stretch to one days accomodation and carhire so i'll be flying over on the Monday and fly home tuesday ...

Stick with a Yamaha engined machine, there's a reason why your TY250B is still knocking around!!!!!!

I ride the little Scorpa 175 which for any thing up to Bgrade will tackle any section on an even par with the big boys, I must warn you that you do have to change the oil every 6 months just so ...

Thanks stu she looks good in the pic but don't look too close, she will be riding Cgrade so I wasn't aiming for a museum piece.

As for parts Ebay,Bjracing, and some pretty cool french sites not forgetting your local Yamaha supplier, most parts are easyer to get than some new bikes its just a case ...

Well I finally got around to sprousing up the old girl, for Xmas she got:

Now I don't know what to ride this year the TY175 or the Scorpa 175 ...
