by the way. I know a fella online who is fixing up two RLs, one for himself and one for his old man so they can ride together. If you have and parts to sell then I can put you in touch. I know they are looking for some tanks.
I hope the RL riders out there are having fun. The guard moulds are available for I don't need them any more. I have some more parts for sale in Facebook marketplace and gumtree.
I just posted this under a new username mjw but since guessed my old password. A while ago I sold the RL250 that this thread is based on. You can see it in this youtube video. It's heartbreaking!
NSW's and perhaps Australia's only road registered RL250. Only need to paint the frame purely for cosmetics...or not. Otherwise a pretty spot on machine. RL250-15224 rego: RJX56 (not-presently registered) 4752km on the odometer Perfect engine Fork tubes are excellent Seat is top notch
The bike should have everything installed for running lights. All you need are the lamps and a switch on the front brake lever. Mine has a battery box (original) that I didn't use. I run the lights 12V AC. The AC makes the tail light blow. I made an LED tail light and it works perfect.
