Nice change in the look.
The forum sits in a narrow scrollable frame, which in turn is within the scrollable web page. This makes the forum fiddly to read and use.
Well you did ask :)

Re: carby woes...
Hi Keith,
We had a Rev-50 and had it ran as well as any 50cc bike could. It started very easy and the jetting was spot on right through the rev range.
Having said that, it had very little grunt down low from very low revs. It did however perform surprisingly well if ridden with a good dose of revs ...

Re: Beta Rev 50 - fan doesn't come on - test thermostat?
My son used to have a Rev-50. Right from new, the fan very seldom came on, and he wasn't averse to giving it some stick.
We live in Brisbane and seldom go out in the cold :)
Considering you've successfully tested the fan and thermostat, and our own experience, I suggest there's nothing wrong with ...

Re: Insurance cover Suncorp Super
I took out a policy with Aust. Casualty & Life thru my broker about 2 years ago. I disclosed my trials riding habit and they were obviously okay with it because there was no exclusion of cover.

Unless other people have had a similar problem with this frame, you'd have to consider it an exception. If it was due to under-engineering or a manufacturing fault we'd expect to see other owners with the same problem. It looks like a stress crack to me.

Re: Thinking about getting back into trials
Good on ya Blair.
The trick with the wife is to firstly take her to a property with plenty of grass in the car park, easy walking to sections, and hopefully a snack tent that serves a nice hot cup of tea. Be sure to pack the camper chair and try to park in a shady spot.
Get the aesthetics right ...
