Hi
as I said, I am only hoping to lose as little as possible - I paid $1800 for the bike from Brisbane at the start of the year, but I do live a long way from any where so I have take that into account - there arn't many 350s about so it is hard to judge.
What would it cost you pick it up from SW ...

TY350N - should I sell it or wreck it
I have decided to abandon the old girl and buy something a bit more modern.
My problem is that I live a long way from anywhere (near Charleville in SW Qld) and I'm not sure of the best way to cut my losses with my TY350N. So I am seeking advice.

Re: TY350N - Kickstarter hitting clutch cover
Thanks for the reply tat ty
That is very interesting, as my bike come with an obviously home made clip to hold the foot peg up allowing the kickstart to swing a very long way - I assumed that the home made clip was replacing something original, but maybe it just someones way of getting a big swing ...

Re: TY350N - Kickstarter hitting clutch cover
This one seems to over rotate hitting the clutch cover at the bottom of the kick - I was wondering how the rotation is normally stopped, I am dreading a cast alloy stop on the inside that has been sheared - I think I will just have to open it up and have a look
Cheers

TY350N - Kickstarter hitting clutch cover
I have just started the voyage of adventure, having a close look at my TY350N.
I have found that the kickstart is over rotating and trying it's best to smash thru the clutch over. Is this a common fault ? I haven't taken the clutch cover off yet, but I am expecting to find stop sheared off ...

Re: TY350N - is it just a bigger 250 ?
I have to admit I'm more than a little ashamed of the way the TY looked when I picked it up - when the photo was taken I was on my way having picked it up on the coast and having a weekend trying to hurt myself on DRZ.
I don't think the previous owner really used it all, I asked about the tyres but ...

Dave
Thanks for the excellent info - hopefully I haven't brought a dud, and now I feel a bit more confident ordering 250 aircooled mono parts.
Thanks again

TY350N - is it just a bigger 250 ?
Hi
I'm new to this game and have recently brought what is supposed to be an 84 TY350N off eBay for a bit too much.
I goes OK, but I like to take things apart and have been looking around for parts/info etc., and it turns out the 350 seems to be fairly rare in Oz (well everywhere actually). So I ...
