I am finally in a position to do the planned fix for this problem.
The local bearing place could only supply viton (high temp) cord in 2mm.

What exactly is that last photo of? Something cut off with a hacksaw by the look of it!
It is the primary and clutch side drain plug, big time butchered, chose it as an indicative photo of the state of the motor, the gearbox one is about the same.
