Funny that you mention that, I believe I was looking some what like a dried up Sultana, speaking something like Russian and walking with a slight list to Starboard about 2am last Saturday, must have been the Castrol R, I was drinking.

What can I say long live the TY and never under estimate the importance it has to many past and present and all going well, long into the future while people like those who exist on this site take the time to use, enjoy and or restore these great old scooters ...

Hi David,
thanks for the positive id. Aside from the road parts that have long since been removed and the missing end piece of exhaust, everything else is as you say it should be. (all of the rubber pieces are still in the barrel and head fins)

Max has cleaned it with in an inch of his life, has bought a tube of Autosol and has been hard at making the most of what he has got, he is busting a gut to ride it on the Easter weekend.

Hi,
my son has just bought his first TY175 (first bike for that matter)
It was bought with 3 years of lawn mowing money, so it will be while till it changes, but it does run well as it is.
It is Portugese Orange and has been parked up for more than 25 years, but runs crisp.
Front and rear gaurds ...

Hi,
