Re: Cut out lanyards for trials bikes
Thank you for the technical help, I hadn't grasped the fact that pulling the lanyard out makes rather than breaks the circuit. On another matter, I am just about to purchase an electric Osset type bike for my eight year old,

• Does an Osset type bike have one fitted ...

Re: Cut out lanyards for trials bikes
In my opinion not necessary for the classic bikes and a I'm not sure easily done with a 50's magneto ignition where to kill the engine a circuit to earth has to be made not broken

Re: Cub barrels.
Thanks George,
My Cub is something in the order of 15kgs heavier than yours so I think I need to do more than just add Yamaha front end. Anyway, I've promised myself I won't post anymore until I have riden the Yamacub in a couple of trials and maybe seen some of these M10 / early bullybitsa's in ...

Re: Cub barrels.
The Classic movement in started Australia as pre63 or62 (if my memory serves me correctly) as was the classic road race cut off piont at the time. After a while it was decided that the cut off date should be moved forward a couple of years to let in things like side pionts Cubs and D7 Bantams and ...

Re: Cub barrels.
I think Tony might be onto something here. If Galps has accepted any round carbs and George accepted square barrels (which is how this debate started), I personally think there is fundamentally nothing wrong with the present Classic pre 65 MOMS. Over specified bikes ride Twin Shock, or as I will ...

Re: Cub barrels.
This is good. Suggest the riding parties all email Galps in the first instance then reply all in future. It will self drive until some sort of agreement is achieved then the proposal can be drafted. Should be able to get a few extra known names involved

Re: Cub barrels.
I submitted a proposal to the MA trials commission last year regarding changing Classic Pre 65 to Classic Pre 70 thus allowing more bikes into the Classic scene and I will do the same again when appropriate this year for next years MOMS
