Another mate is ...

Re: Twinshock Rules?
Hi Roger, yes the Chapman is the bike Mike Chapman was responsible for. Apparently the first ever production monoshock trials bike. I'd forgotten we had discussed them over on Trials Central;

Re: Show us a picture of your Twinshock or Classic Trials bike
Hi Jon, sorry for slow response.
i'm only getting to UK Aug 15th, borrowing the same Cub from Col Smith that i rode in 2015 but i understand it hasn't been started since then, so will need maintenance and testing in not much time before Manx Classic.
I'm into TY Yamaha's at the moment as our ...

Re: Show us a picture of your Twinshock or Classic Trials bike
Hi Roger, sorry I won't be at the Manx this year, not yet done it but a mate raves about it.One day... Concentrating on buying and building bikes this year,in the middle of a B44 Victor build from scratch, there is a limit to spending on bikes and its an expensive deal to do the Manx.

My little James J9 Commando at the Golden Valley Classic Presidents trial today.(The one in the middle of the three) Can't be very often three of them are seen at a trial together, but there were 107 other bikes there being ridden... Lovely day out in the sun for a change, its been a long cold and ...

Re: Italjet scott 350 parts and technical
I took this picture last weekend at a local VMCC autojumble, this bike belongs to a trials mate of mine,(I didn't know he owned it) he had it up for sale for £3495. Its never been used...
By coincidence the venue at Shepton Mallet was where I originally saw them for sale, company was Johnson's Cables ...

Re: Sherpa M125
As for modern Betor shocks, they work great on my Alpina. Way too much compression damping for trials though
It won't stay that way for long David, all the Betor's I've had soon leak. When they stop leaking they're not bad ! Rockshocks or Falcon's seem to be most popular here in the UK,can you get ...

Re: Italjet scott 350 parts and technical
There is a bloke who rides one in trials local to me,can't remember his name. Hopefully he will be at our next trial on March 11th,if I see him I'll ask if he has a manual or knows capacities and settings.

Re: Basket Cases
I remember all the fuss about the Mudplugger, but its got me thinking about what I used. It was November 1985 when I rode my first trial on my silver engined 250 Beamish. Could have done with the grip of the IRC's we use now.(And the experience I've gained in the following years) Think it my have ...
