I use the Jitsie knee pads, small and light. I also have a pair, forgot the brand, that have shin guards that tuck into the top of my boots and cover my knees. These are hard plastic, had them since the 1980s. The Jitsies are a hard foam.

Re: Transporting your bike?
Hi, on local trips around town I don't bother, but on longer trips I put a milk crate under the bash plate. I keep it in place with a ocky strap hooked in one side over the bike and into the other side, or a couple of those short straps through the footpegs.

Good Service
Hi all, just thought I would give some praise for very good service to the Hell Team. On our regular Sunday ride the guy's got talking about getting parts, I think the happiest guy's were the Hell Team customers. Even a Sherco rider was over the moon with the Gas Gas dealers support. If you have not ...

Re: Ways to get more people into trials?

We just got two more riders and a guy looking for a bike for his son. And a big win was the local Honda dealer [I mentioned earlier] just bought ...

Re: Ways to get more people into trials?
Hi Noobmaster, thanks for the thanks to me in your opening post. I responded to the Trials Central post but I'm also a member of this forum too and ride up in North Queensland.
Just to add to the above posts. My mate and I rode for about 18 months on our own before we thought of expanding our rider ...

Before putting on the new cap, and if there is enough length, I cut the plug lead back to expose fresh wire to screw the cap into.
Just a thought.

Well at least there's a Sammy Miller trials shirt in Queensland
. I still wear mine with 'Sammy Miller Trial Sport' printed on the front and "Ellgren" printed down the sleeves. Cheers Taff.

Re: Cut out lanyards for trials bikes
My lanyard kill switch may just have paid for itself last weekend. On a dirt bank climb out of a sandy creek I lost it and the bike and me parted company, of course the motor stopped running. It was good that it did because when I put the cap back on the switch [after cleaning off grit from the ...
