Thanks for reply, To the best of my knowledge, my wife is not overdue! Forks had new seals, super light weight oil, bottom tubes were paint stripped to remove laquer, had a few hours of fine wet sanding and then to the buffing wheel with aluminium polish. Left 'raw' afterwards so that ...

First outing for my TLR250 after twelve month (in between study and work!) restoration. Bike completed Sat noon, not even started before loading into back of Prado and driving down to Conondale Twinshock Trial. Bike rides and runs nicely although will need to see what effect 'straight through ...
