Re: 2017 One event Competition Licence !!
In NSW it has not been possible to ride an Open on a one event licence. If the new licence structure makes this possible, then we will in fact have gained something.

Re: Basket Cases
I hope you didn't attempt to ride that Bultaco in those Montesa gumboots Greg! The reaction between the two could be catastrophic!!! If nothing else, the combination certainly would not ride well.
Even pushing the Bultaco wearing those is ill-advised...

Re: TL125 gear selection problems
Sounds like the gearshift return / centreing spring is not doing its job. Simple check, if you can gently lift the gear shift lever up (as far as you can without shifting up), then push down and it shifts down OK, the return spring is almost certainly the culprit.

Re: New bike, sorry but what is it?
The closest Trial events to Newcastle are held at various properties around Denman by the Denman Twinshock Trials Club.
Events at Pacific Park (run by either Pacific Park Trials Club or Manly Warringah MCC) are a close second.

Re: NSW event calendar
jml, I agree 100%
But these kind of improvements start with a bunch of us selling initiatives within our own clubs.

Re: Basket Cases
Never mind the jetting; Greg tells me that obstacle is all about head position. The pictures are demonstrative.
I wouldn't know, I've been too psyched out to attempt it since Greg explained what he had in mind when he designed it.
Pure evil at work

Re: NSW event calendar
THT: Nice work; Straight up!
jml: There is absolutely no reason the construct you suggest could not be a reality.
This is specifically what is proposed under the NSW Trial Riders Association.
Meanwhile, there is no reason you could not champion this arrangement in your own club.

Re: Basket Cases
Big difference in rear sprocket size between the complete wheel and the spare hub?
Very envious of you guys collecting baskets and building bikes - I was out of room before I moved and now I have less!
