Through Enduro/MX he also has a 125cc endorsement on his licence if that helps....and we have enough riding gear to keep a decent bike shop in stock for a year (another by product of riding the ...

He is a handly rider generally but needs some coaching from some people who really know the black art of trials.....does anyone know of any camps, days, events or whatever that are coming up in the Sydney area ...

Re: Ignorance of Trials
Thank you all.
We'll drop down to Pacific Park and mess around there when the Jaw has healed (I suppose) (BTW...the jaw was broken in a skateboard accident).
Its a bit of a shame we couldn't ride at Denman with a modern bike when the time comes
I'm not sure what'll happen to the other bikes ...

Ignorance of Trials
The short story is my son (13) has raced MX well and Enduro too.
For one reason or another, his confidence/interest has wained. He has also suffered a big injury to the Jaw (broken in three places).
We have an array of motorcycle weaponry in the workshop....of which one is a modern mono shock ...

Ok guys. I just bought the young fella a 125 sherco. He is just about 13 but very tall.
He is an accomplished mx and enduro rider but wabts to improve his 'obstacle' skills. So.....
One of the many techniques we need to improve is balancing while stopped.
I'd love to hear from you all on the ...

Re: Starting out in the Junior grades...
So we buy a bike,
whack on a helmet,
pull on some boots,
turn up,
start engine
and
fall off.
Too easy!

Starting out in the Junior grades...
Hi Guys...
Can anyone point me to a good site, document or place where I can get an idiots guide to competing in trials (juniors)?
In particular I'd like to know:
Age/class structure for Juniors
Bike sizes/capacity rules for each class
Usual equipment needs (mandatory and recommended)
