The Clutch master cylinder option works for the electric bikes with no clutch. So you have both brakes on the handlebars like a mountain bicycle.
This bike is a TRS250 presumably with a clutch. So it gets tricky operating both with the left hand.
One option is the Clake dual left arrangement. This ...

Re: Magazine Articles
What I liked about the article was the magazine front cover with the Kwaka Z900.
I have the later 2019 Z900RS. From a distance looks similar but is a totally different bike. Nostalgia with reliability.

Re: Yamaha TY175 gearing
Huski,
I would think that the damage to the clutch cover would be behind the kick start shaft. Just about every TY175 would have damage there. There is a weakness in the spiral junction between the kick start shaft and the gear attached to it. This fails after a few years and people move the kick ...

David,
Might it be the number of springs in the clutch?

Re: Killswitch for a James
Barry,
You may ask questions but the answers may be dodgy.
I am not experienced with wheel building but I know a trials tyre just fits into swingarm with a lot of rubbing. The new type rear trials tyres ( tubeless ) are now wider and are harder to fit. I managed a couple of seasons ago to get a tube ...

Re: Killswitch for a James
David,
This is a Villiers engine and all the HT stuff is behind the flywheel not up on the frame. A HT lead comes out from behind the flywheel straight to the spark plug.
My Villiers engine has been converted with the HT coil on the frame.
Barry,

Re: Basket Cases
David,
I have never done anything like this so this question may be totally wrong.
When you machine the brake shoes, do you leave the actuation arm in the bottom position or do you have the actuation arm in the anticipated position where the shoes just contact the inside of the drum? And how do you ...

Re: Basket Cases
David,
Regarding "Custard Tart", I don't think that that bike was "Custard Tart". I think it may have been a TY and the yellow was all over the bike and it was not a very nice look. I hope some others can remember the bike I am thinking of.

Re: Basket Cases
Reading about CUSTARD TART, I recall another Custard Tart which was a TY I think and ridden often by MR. So there must have been more than 1 Custard Tart. I don't remember the Honda one ridden by JB.
Would some one with a better memory please explain???? Was there a batch of Custard Tart paint that ...
