Rear wheel is 32 spoke.
Thanks David. I was onto tytrials, BJ racing and Sammy Miller.
Do you think I'd be able to fit an "OEM" plastic tank to replace my steel one.
Would I have to modify the frame (cut off "C" brackets?, and/or drill hole for new fixing bolt?).
Is there a good, preferably ...

Re: ty 250 mono aftermarket parts
There are a few aftermarket parts for the TY250 mono, but different parts are made by different people. What parts are you after?
I am renovating a ty250 mono R/S (53y Aus ADR compliant) from paddock basher state to ridable as an explorer/playbike and later registerable as a local commuter.

Re: Removing Autolube from ty250s monoshock
For those of you just hanging to find out, I made up my own cover plate.
Scrap of 3mm aluminium flat bar.
Drilled 2 30mm centre to centre apart, 5mm screw holes.
Cut roughly to size with hacksaw, "finessed" with file.
Fixed with Permatex gasket maker.
All is good.

Re: Removing Autolube from ty250s monoshock
I never suspected Yamaha would have the part seeing it only applies to autolube models, and I couldnt see them sanctioning the pumps removal. Live & learn.
I suspect a '75 ty175 cover plate will do just nicely, thank you very much. I'll check it out with a Yammie dealer ASAP.

Removing Autolube from ty250s monoshock
I am in the process of removing the oil injection from my ADR'd '86 ty250s.
3) If I remove the oil pump bottle and hoses, will there be anything special I need to do at the carburettor? or just leave a short piece of the oil hose in place at the carby and put a plug in it?
