Re: Yamaha TY250A Speedometer Rebuild
I do still have aftermarket speedo's and brackets to suit. I would contact either a clock or instrument restorer to get the original item restored.

Ty175b registration
Does anyone know if the TY175b can be registered for road use in NSW. A local rego centre told me that after september 1976 motorcycles required an ADR compliance plate, but not before this date. Also did the bike come equiped with a speedo.

Ty250a part for sale.
I have now finished restoring my TY250a and have quite a lot of parts left incuding. Frames, cases, rubbers, airboxes, triple trees, pump covers, left and right case covers, h/light bucket etc etc. Frames and cases are matching numbers.

Re: TY250A SEAT
David, I saw these and they look great but the TY250a cover is heat pressed and identical to the orig. seat pattern. I am thrilled with mine and will probably get one for my 77 when I restore it. here is the seat: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/YAMAHA-TY250 ... 27ca945119
