Hi all. I managed to get along to the Joe Tarabini Trial on Sunday. FWIW Here's a link to a few pics from the day. www.barossaphotocompany.com/joetarabini Was a great day and kinda reminded me what it is I love about the about the sport.
Another quick update..... I've stripped and painted the frame. The engine is apart and I've just ordered the rod kit, piston etc etc from Keith Lynas. He was slightly more expensive on a couple of things, but more than made up for it with excellent advice and fast service. Ossa World wanted $106.00 ...
I noticed on the In Motion site that they sell a primary chain tensioner. Would this be something I should get? I figure if the chain is ok, it would be needed, but if there's some sort of advantage in it, I'll go for it.
You were right. They got back to me within a few hours with the quote, so I'll put my order in tonight. The only thing I wasn't sure about was that the price of their piston kits is over $AUD100.00 more than the forged ones from Ossa World. Anyone care to suggest a reason why?
Thanks folks. I've heard good things about them before, so wasn't really worried about them disappearing, just trying to work out what was happening. I've sent the order via the Bultaco address and all seems good. Should be building the Ossa engine before I know it!
Has anyone been in contact with In Motion lately? I've been trying email them and it keeps bouncing back. Both when I use the link on the website and when I type the address manually.
Quick update, I probably won't go for a lot of this stuff, simply because of the postage cost. e.g. 30 bucks to post just the headlight to S.A. I might still go for the front wheel depending on his postage quote. I sent him a message on Thursday, but haven't heard back as yet.
