My rear shock is weeping (no, it's not sad. . . it's just leaking oil) and needs a rebuild.
Where is a good place I can take/send my shock for a holiday where it can be rebuilt?
Beta Rev 3 - 270cc 2004 model, by the way and I live in SW Queensland near Toowoomba.

Re: Xispa
Maybe we should give it an Aussie pronounciation - combined with the dry Aussie humor - and call it a VESPA?

Re: Xispa
Ok . . . Probably pronounced more like "Chispa" than "Shispa" . . but close enough. . .
Management at the Sherco factory in Spain probably pronounce it "F&*@ Chinese SHi#$% - pa"

Re: Xispa - pronounciation
Having worked in China for 18 months, I am pretty sure that the pronounciation of Xispa is "shis-pa"
The 'X' in Chinese words is pronounced like a cross between "Ch" and "Sh" - as in Xian (where the terracotta warriors were found) which is pronounced "Shian"

Re: The Overflow
I dunno how long the driving time would be from Brisbane, but the trials site is approximately 7 kilometres from Beaudesert on the Beaudesert - Boonah road.
Bitumen road all the way from Brisbane to the site - no dirt roads at all and the property roads are fine (you don't need a 4x4).

Re: Backward Bultaco is it true???
Over 30 years ago, I saw a Bultaco sidecar outfit attempt a steep climb, just as the bike was about to clear the top, it ran out of puff, stalled for a fraction of a second and then re-started BACKWARDS with the engine running full-throttle, because the rider still had the throttle wound right out ...

Congratulations
Congratulations and thanks to the Committee and members of the MTCQ who held the wonderful 2-day trial over the Easter weekend.
Fabulous venue and interesting sections. Great to see the guys from New Zullund over here, struggling with the heat and humidity.
My thanks to all concerned.
