New Website is here!

Postby keithj » Mon Sep 07, 2009 8:45 pm

Tell me what you think! Good or bad, let me have it!

I'll be adding some more things over the coming weeks, but for now it's just a matter of getting it online.

Use this post if you've lost some feature and can't find it in the new site.... it's probably there, but hidden away somewhere. :?

Thanks folks.

Wooh turn my back for 5 minutes and everything changed, so far everything works fine.

More Gasgas red than Sherco blue is this some kind of subliminal message?

Think I found an issue.... the photos in the forums seem to be cropped if wider than the allowable screen size, and no scroll bar. Or is that just me?
Hmmm... :?

And just found another - the extra smilies (View more smilies) don't insert in the message... something to do with the wrapper I reckon...

Nice change in the look.
The forum sits in a narrow scrollable frame, which in turn is within the scrollable web page. This makes the forum fiddly to read and use.

Well you did ask :)

I've turned off the scroll bar within the frame... does that make a difference?

Failing that I might try a full-width version of the forum... take out the LH column and move it to the bottom, perhaps.

Nice look and feel Keith, well done.
Pages open faster too.
One minor gripe, when in Forum pages, scroll down to read, then go back to previous indexed page, it will go to the bottom of the last page, not where you left off.

You will also need to update the little avatar whotsit in the page line of the browser with the new logo too.
