Hi Chris

It's not that I can't do them it's that I found them more difficult to master. Although I'll admit I still haven't mastered them.

Like most hopping beginners I found that I was using my arms and shoulders rather than my legs to hop the front. That usually causes you to lose your balance. However, It took lots of practice to rid me of that habit after which it became easier.

BUT I still lapse into bad ways. Not enough practice I suppose.

Who's coming over for Tauranga?

and followed the instructions and movie clips, and I am doing front wheel and back wheel hops after 2 days practice. i still haven't "nailed it" but I've got the idea.

Give it a try - if an old dog like me can learn a new trick, then anybody can!!

I tried this link and it doesn't work....help

And get yourself a copy of the Ryan Young Training dvd which has an excellent section on hopping.
