I agree, they are all doing really well in incredibly tough conditions (even for the Scottish). Kyle suffered more bike troubles and has also got a throat infection that hopefully he can push through and continue to the finish. Nearly 160kms around the Scottish highlands for the riders on the 5th day and we still have 3 riders battling on.
Kyle had a better day and moved up to 67th overall with a sore throat and a rough running motor.
Chris seemed to go ok and is now in 73rd spot
Matt again moves up the order into 197th spot, thats his 5th day of climbing the ladder.
Hopefully Mark's knee is improving.
I'm sure we wish them all the best for the final day.

Hope I haven't bored you with my daily updates for the SSDT but here's the final results.

Dougie Lampkin won after James Dabills tyre came off the rim in the final group of sections after he had led all week, a disaster for him but a 12th SSDT win for Lampkin.

Our lads finished as follows;
Kyle finished 61 overall
Chris finished 74 overall
Matt finished 190 overall
Mark retired early

Kyle was 6th best newcomer
Chris was 10th " "
Matt was 27th " "

Well done guys, a massive effort to get over there and compete, now I'm looking forward to my own effort to ride in the Isle of Man 2 day International Classic trial in September,,,,,,,,, over and out .
