I'm coming to you guys because I'm hoping trials riders will understand. I used to (12+ years ago) ride trials at a fairly high level. In my current situation I'm not looking for a new trials bike, but I am looking for a new-ish mountain bike that would be the most fun for doing some parking lot level trials (i.e. pedal kicks and whatnot). I've also been out of the mountain bike world for more than a decade, so I have no idea what's out there. The big wheels freak me out, so I definitely don't want to go bigger than 27.5".
In other words, what's a good hardtail made in the last few years that would still be fun to drop the seat and screw around on?

Re: Recommendations for a mountain bike
A good mountain bike? One with an engine?
Seriously though it's probably like asking which trials bike should I buy?
Ride friends bikes if you can. Get the one that you feel comfortable on
