Prior to ride

Postby ito » Sat Aug 13, 2016 5:44 pm

Prior to ride,I am studying Techno.
As she is my first 2 stroke motorcycle.

I was wondering where I should fill cooling liquid.
Cap of EVO locates top of radiator.
But Techno has no cap at top of radiator.

I found the tank cap locates next to fuel tank cap.
Wow,I have to mix fuel and engine oil by myself.
I thought filling separately and mixed automatically.
Real competition motorcycle!

updated.

Received Hydraulic clutch hose from HEL in UK

Postby ito » Sun Aug 21, 2016 7:48 pm

I replaced damaged hose with new one from HEL.
I filled DOT4 but DOT4 did not flow and no air came out.
Spring could have wasted or rubbers for piston could have wasted.
Or cylinder housing could have wasted.
Nevertheless I will replace with complete Hydraulic master cylinder with lever.

Worn side stand

Postby ito » Sun Aug 28, 2016 11:27 am

Side stand receiving part worn so that body could not stand alone.
I made a aluminum spacer in order to go side stand backward.
It is not bad. When worn again,I will replace it with steel plate.

Hydraulic clutch issue

Postby ito » Sun Sep 11, 2016 11:18 pm

I gave up replacing with new seal kit and HEL hose.
Finally I got Chinese master cylinder and hose as shown on picture.
I assembled them onto Beta and filled DOT4 fluid.

Then I found a piece of chain slide block lie down on bumper plate.
Every parts seemed to be worn. Chain tension block is as well.
