Newbie in Hunter Valley

Postby Smanktel » Sat Jan 13, 2018 6:40 pm

Hi All, my son and I are keen to get into trials for a bit of fun for me and for enduro training for my son. We live in Stroud NSW which is about 45 mins North of Newcastle. After numerous searches I have failed to fine any clubs less than 2.5 hrs away. NSW in general seems to lack many clubs at all. Am I missing something or is this the case? If so which club would you recommend for us? Don't mind travelling that far once a month or so for the right club. Also we have not purchased a trials bike yet. Looking to spend between 2 to 3 k for the first one. I'm 5'7" and weigh 83 kg may son is 5'8" and weighs next to nothing. We both ride Beta 300 2T enduro bikes. Most have recomended we don't go above a 250 to start does everybody agree? Any help for the Newbies much appreciated.

Hi there Denman would be the closest club for you http://www.denmanmcc.com.au/trials/ and it’s a great club
Maybe contact the hell team about suitable bikes http://www.thehellteam.com/trial-bikes-43.html or come along to the next Denman event 11th March there’ll be a fair few modern bike riders that could give you some friendly advice
Denman is not only twinshock bikes this year apart from 1 event

Thanks Brownie. That sounds good. I'll give Denman a call and try to get to the 11 March event.

+1 For the Hell Team, Paul is super easy to deal with and has a good range of bikes for all budgets.

Man, what do you know about online casino no deposit? Not much, I guess. I know that it's not easy to become a pro gambler. That is why I just read reviews.
