I'm going to go in maintenance mode with just a bit of fine tuning.

So glad Iv had the chance to make another bike I'm comfortable in. We will age togeather.
It sings and such anger.

Iv had a blast, such an adjustable bike. When I know what I want to do to that motor I will do it.

The chain has occasionally been pushed or some circumstance made it jumped off.

This is the best I could find. Should be good the aluminium is hard and the guide is long, protective and made of nylon.

Slight problem is they don't make them for a 42t sprocket. The biggest is 35t. Figured is could push the settings enough to accomidate 42t.
Put it at its highest setting and take it from there.

With just the support it won't go down enough.

Bottom hits the gear case.

So it had to trim it and raise the height of the slot.

How to take some off the bottom?
I could just cut some off the bottom the bolt and nut are pressed up to the top. Metal around 75% of it with a nice washer and lock nut it would lock in nicely. If I was to cut the bottom off then I may as well cut it a high as possible

Taking just enough off the bottom to leave 1mm gap is probably stronger.
The bolt will nessele in up the top. The nut down in the slot dident hold on by much.

With the guide bolted on it won't give the nut any bight. Even with a washer it will just roll the edges and fall in.

So I figure it I use a dremel til on the drill press I could make my own milling machine. Just slide it in nice and genteelly and it flys off.

Fit a washer, I even took the edge off one side of the nut so it could snug in nicely without taking to much metal.

On the biggest gear it sits about one millimetre off the side. It can only come up 2mm so it's not coming off that side. The other side has about 2mm gap. Not wide or high enough come off.

On the smallest gear it runs close as well

It's suposed to have a keyway in a spacer plate.

You can do it up and use a 6mm Allen key to locate it.

So that means you can tap it.

It's a poor tap so just do it up enough to tighten. It does not have to hold anything and as a keyway it's enough.

I tried to make the chain come off. No matter how I twisted it with in the space available it always felt well engaged.
It will do.

I just noticed the sprocket or frame flexes more than 1mm. I'm going to have to fix that some day.

If I go out on the bike on my own I want a phone with me.
I couldent find a regular phone case that I could feel assured that it's going to survive a crash. So I found this. And apparently it's good for 1000kg preasure and underwater 1m for an hour. I guess after that you take your chances.

It seams I get more use out of it as a road bike.

I would like,to build another one but don't want to keep it. I would be happy to develope Mk1. Mk2 is a customer bike. It would cost around $5500 dependin on how it's optioned, Up to 6 months in construction then testing, profile options. At the bike shop they call it The beast. I think of it as a old school small block V8. Contact me.

Hi CLO
I had to laugh when I saw you put your hand up. Send me a private message with contract details. I can think of lots of ways of going about this so let's see if we can find one that suites you.
