Hey, I'm keen to give this club day a go.
I couldn't find any info online about how to enter. Do I just turn up?
I dont have an MA license, so can i get a 1 day license on the day if required?
Whats to cost for entry etc?
Do I need anything special other than boots, bike in good condition and a helmet?
Also, If I go out there to practice the weekend before, are there any old sections marked out? I have no idea what grade to enter, so riding a few old sections of clubman/C would help me figure out what I can't do.
See ya out there.

I was as confused as you before the last round. For the biggest Club in Sydney they keep a low profile!
Yep just turn up. Maybe give Paul at the hell team a call first. $25 for entry plus Club membership of $50 or something? ?
The old sections were still set up a few weeks after the last round which I liked. I'm terrible at making my own sections and tend to just ride what I'm good at. Clubman is a bit too easy as you don't go through gates. I would enter c as then you get a real feel for it. The days are very relaxed and low pressure. Just do a bit of reading on the rules before you go do you can score yourself accurately.

Hi there Junek
Yes at Club level trials you can just "turn up" on the day. Competition starts at 10am, so rock up around 9 to get signed in and get the skinny from us on how the day operates. Club fees for the day are usually $30.00
We do have day licenses, if you don't hold a competition license, no problem.
If you would like to join the club for the year it is $30
You do obviously need a bike, helmet and boots. The regulations regarding all that can be found at the Motorcycling Australia website, - but basically a stock bike is OK, just need to have a lanyard kill button fitted.
Please feel free to come out the week before. We will probably be out there setting the sections for the following weekend and you can have a look at the course, and have some input if you like!
Please feel free to call me at The Hell Team if you need any more information.
See you there.
regards

Thanks guys, much appreciated.
Paul, was it you I bought a set of tyres off this morning? I'm Jamie. New rubber should help me through the sections!
Yep, planning on being there the weekend before (next weekend) for some practice and to scope out the lines.
Got the kill button sorted.
I'll check out the rules to help me score myself - although I'm not sure I can count that high!
See ya out there.

Hey Junek,
If you need a quick intro to the rules these videos are great start. Be aware that they are American and they do have some different rules to us but for the most part and for the beginner they are enough to get you ready to begin scoring yourself. Also reference some of those rules with the Australian Manual of Motorsport [1] and there is a table on Page 324, 325 with the Australian version of those rules. I find the video helpful as it's a very visual example of the rules, reading the manual is kind of boring and may not make a hell of a lot of sense at first.
Don't worry about not being able to count too high The only number you gotta aim for is ZERO
