Hey all.
I have an older Sherco 2.9 that I am hoping to do some club level stuff on.
I have a magnetic lanyard ready to go, but not too sure how to wire it in? The bike still has the standard switch block for lights/kill switch and a horn?
I found this via Google. It's an earlier bike, but should be the same I imagine?

Shouldn't be too hard to make up the same harness?
Is there a quicker solution?

Re: Lanyard Wiring - 2007 Sherco
Hi Ben, mine is a 2002 290 and I didn't buy a harness or cut and splice the old harness. I took the switch block off and took it to my bike shop, an auto electrical place can help too.
But I got the same plug that is on the Sherco switch block and a couple of terminals to suit.
Once you check your Sherco's wiring for correct colours. I cut the ends off the lanyard wiring and fitted the new terminals.
Simply plug and play. I did fill the back of the new plug with silicone to keep water out when I wash the bike though.

OK, I did try Repco and Autobarn for a plug with no luck. I'll see if the auto specs have something.
