2001 Beta REV3 250 - 428 or 520 Chain?

Hi,

I am needing to replace my chain and front & rear sprockets.

How do I tell if I have a 428 or 520 size chain?

I have a 2001 Beta REV-3 250.

428 is smaller pitch (the distance between the centres of the rollers) than 520 and is usually only fitted to trials bikes with less than about 15 horsepower (like 80s and 125s).

250 Beta Rev 3 usually comes standard with 520 chain.
