Trials noob in Townsville, is there anyone else around?

Post by junior »

hey all, welcome to my first post. expect all the noob questions later on.

I have wanted a trials bike for a while now, never really ridden bikes other than the old trail bikes we have, and that's hardly ever.

Are there any guys in Townsville I can meet up with, have a chat, see what's what. I want to get a something like a beta200, i think. I'll do a bit of reading thru old posts as i bet all my Q's have already been answered.

I'm working for 8 days starting tomorrow, but will be back in townsville for the following 6.

cheers. Tom.

Yes Tom. There is an active group of trials riders in Townsville. If no one from there replies to your post in the next few days, I'll dig up some contact details.

Hi Tom

Dave is right there are a small group of riders still at it in townsville. Thanks Dave.

We go for a ride most sunday mornings at Harveys range or behind Mt Stuart. Got a good range of skill levels from novice thru to Cooper (willing and able to leap tall buildings).

All are welcome. No probs to come along and have a ride on a couple of bikes to try it out.

Ring me on 0409038243 or text me your number and will sort you out with directions and dates and times etc.

Cya.

The Townsville guys are a great bunch to ride with and they've got some great areas to ride. You'll be in good hands. Top of Harvey Range is great if you like your rocks BIG !! Been there / done that.
We'll hook you up with a ride if you're ever down Gladstone / Rockhampton way :D
