Trials Demo in the NT

Post by car.davies »

NT Trials ?
There was a local show on here in Darwin this past weekend, 17 - 18 May. It was called the Fred's pass rural show, or something similar. Anyhow, I have it on good authority that there was a very good trials demonstration there. I believe they were from WA. Much to my chagrin I was not aware of the show, so I missed it. I sometimes get the feeling that I am the only trials rider here in the NT, so was amazed that someone here has shown an interest. I am still trying to find out who they were, if only to find out if they were invited by another, obviously lonely trials rider. Lonely in the trials sense only. If anyone knows who or has any info could you please leave a post and we might be able to shake up some interest up here in what I believe to be one of the best motor sports ever to putt putt on petrol. Hope you can help.
cheers davo.

That was Jack Field's Freestyle Trials Show. They are from NSW, and ride Scorpa's SY250R's.
Jack Field and Jason Hill are Australia's only professional full time trials riders, and travel there show across the country. (they have performed in WA at the Narrogin's Revheads festival!)

Jack Field and Jason Hill from Jack's Freestyle Trials Entertainment are at the forefront of the new Freestyle trials revolution. In Europe it's Julien DuPont of ''Out Of Section'' fame. Also Fred Crosset and Arthur Courtard, and in Japan, Takumi Narita and the Fre3Ride Crew. These guys are doing things on a trials bike that are truly pushing the boundaries.

Jack and Jason are probably Australia's only truly professional trials riders, travelling the length of the country, and Internationally, performing Jack's Freestyle Trials Show at events like the Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane Motorcycle Shows, Gold Coast Indy, Narogin Revheads, Noemea Freestyle Festival and the 2008 Sydney Royal Easter Show. They are constantly pushing the boundaries of Trials Freestyle, backflipping their Scorpa SY250's, and adding new tricks all the time to their ever expanding quiver.

Jack and Jason are sponsored by Coca Cola, Scorpa Motorcycles Australia, Monza Imports and The Hell Team.

It's a bit old now, but you can get an idea of the show on a small scale. It's grown since that was filmed in 07.

Good luck in the NT. Who know's they may be back for the V8's.

that's awesome Jack. Might even be worth you starting your own thread to let people in the Trials community know what events you guys are going to be at. I'm sure everyone would love to get out and see you guys if they can and give you even more support.
