CANBERRA ROUND OF NATIONAL PUSH BIKE TRIALS - SAT 30 AUGUST

Hi All,

The organisers - CORC (Canberra Off Road Cyclists) in conjunction with MTBA (Mountain Bikibg Australia) expect 750+ riders from nearly 80 Countries to attend and participate in the Australian rounds of the Worlds Mountain Bike Championships. These activities began last night in Canberra with a short criterium street circuit in Civic for participating MTB riders as well as a pushbike TRIALS display.

As a part of the Mountain Bike world Cup - which Canberra will be hosting during this comming week, there will be a round of the Australian Push Bike -TRIALS Championships held at the Stromlo Forest Park complex in Canberra on saturday 30th of August.

As a supporting activity on the Sunday 31st of August, there will be a Motorcycle Trials Demonstration event - starting at 10am. The Moto - TRIALS riders will use the same (man made / brought in) equipment as the pushbikers. This event will be simmilar to a indoor Trial - but without the walls and roof. There are rocks, boulders, concrete pits and pipe with a couple of cable cotton reels and pine logs for good measure.
