made myself a bike rack yesterday. pics

Post by junior »

had a little spare time at work so I knocked up a rack for the Sherco to go on the back of the cruiser.

Hopefully the draw bar is long enough (it is on paper) and the swing away wheel carrier clears the tie down points either side of the bike's tyres

Looks great. Is it to go on the back of the front-end loader? Will need to be good and strong if so, but it does look to be well-made.

Have a good one,
Greg

hi all
don't want to take the fun out of it but just remember there are rules about the total width of a vehicle and the protruding distance from the main part of the car ( sometimes the cops just need an excuse to book you, and this is it). Also I would recomend getting one of those trailer light boards ( indicators, numberplate etc.) like the ones clipped onto the back of boats. not sure if this conforms to the requirements but I think it makes you less likely to get pulled over in the first place.

bye bye

Yep, the rule is 200mm either side and I'm picking up a boat trailer light bar tomorrow and I have a plan to move the number plate so it's visible.

the fun returns!
