Twin shock weights

Post by shaunb »

Just wondering if anyone is nerdy enough to have got together a list of comparative weights for the mainstream twinshocks.

I am particularly interested in TY250's (B/D's) vs Sherpa T's (the later versions).

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Cheers

My 250 and over trials bikes from the 1970s have been weighed on the same set of bathroom scales are all pretty much the same weight. Lightest was 93 kg and heaviest was 95 kg. Bikes weighed were
TY250B, TY250A, TY250D, Majesty 250, KT250, M49 Sherpa T, M198 Sherpa T, OSSA MAR and Cota 348.
All were weighed when ready to ride in a trial.
